So, Steam Sale. Curses again?
It's perennial of course - whenever a really good sales week or weekend comes up, I invariably go wandering through my options and I pick up games that I've been salivating over that are cheapcheapcheap and then feel bad because don't I already have fifty other options that I haven't even played yet?
But c'mon. Victor Vran for, like, $7.00. Just can't go wrong there.
I am a very large fan of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls and VV looked like more of the same, only different so it's been on my radar for ages. I got myself through the tutorial and into the Castle proper and I'm probably going to sit here for awhile as I look through my other purchases. I like it, I can see there's going to be some real joy in the game. The controls are a bit wonky but that's mostly just getting into practice with the spin/turning since I'm used to fixed isometric views and not this gimbal free-for-all.
Being able to double jump is cool, the weapons with their demonic special effects are very cool and I think I may go hammer/shotgun and bludgeon my way through things. We'll see!
